Lukas Lobmaier is a Ph.D. student at the Photogrammetry and Robotics Lab at the University of Bonn since September 2025. He received his M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2025. For his master’s thesis, he was a research student at the Autonomous Systems Lab (ASL) at ETH Zurich, working on active perception for robotic manipulation. Prior to that, he was a research student at CSIRO Data61, focusing on place recognition for SLAM systems.
