FEX Homepage

Welcome to the homepage of FEX, the Feature Extraction system that is developed at the Institute of Photogrammetry in Bonn.

FEX aims at replacing the iconic representation of the image content by a symbolic image description, representing the essential parts and structures of an image related to some task. To overcome some of the deficiencies of existing extraction methods FEX provides the simultaneous and coherent treatment of three feature types (points, lines and blobs) and derives the neighborhood relations between those features.
